Sun Valley Real Estate is Thriving

Wow, what a summer it has been. When I look back at June, July and August I can hardly believe I survived it all. My days; like so many others I know, have been filled will nonstop activity and uncertainty. Our business went from zero to overdrive in a matter of days and my kids went from having a full time schedule to absolutely no schedule at all. The Sun Valley community is truly unique and for those of us fortunate enough to call this place home should feel truly blessed.  

My kids went back to school this week and I have to laugh because they are absolutely thrilled to be back! It may be the first time ever that they have lost sleep at night with excitement for the first day of school. I am pretty happy too, as my life has finally returned to somewhat of a normal schedule once again.

The real estate market here in Sun Valley has been on over drive all summer long and we are not seeing any signs of it slowing down in the near future. I know there are a lot of people who have decided to make a lifestyle change and search out a place with a sense of community and close proximity to open space and for some, Sun Valley has answered that call. The fact that many jobs are now operating remotely has made it possible for these lifestyle changes to occur. The August statistics paint a very clear picture of the real estate demand in our community. Below is a comparison of August 2019 vs August 2020:
